Hello

Calm,
right on time.

SimpleDay is a breathing, relaxation and sleep app. Morning, afternoon, evening or night, it suggests one short guided session: the one that fits right now.

Tap a moment: the sky changes, just like in the app.

How it works

Open it. Breathe. Get on with your day.

  1. 1

It knows what time it is

Morning, afternoon, evening or night, it suggests one session that fits the moment. Nothing to search for.

  2. 2

    A few guided minutes

Breathe, loosen your neck, listen to the rain, drift back to sleep. Thirty seconds to fifteen minutes, guided all the way.

  3. 3

    Your hill remembers

Every session grows a flower on your hill, and over the days your little world fills in. Skip a day and you lose nothing.

The little world has one job: to make looking after yourself a habit you actually enjoy.

Morning · 5 am – 11 am

How did you sleep?

Log your night with one tap, without numbers or a smartwatch. Then take a minute to wake up gently.

  • Gentle wake-up1 min
  • Breathing space3 min

Day · 11 am – 6 pm

Three minutes off, then back to it.

When the pressure builds, one long sigh can be enough. SimpleDay suggests what fits right now.

  • Sigh it out1 min
  • Breathing space3 min
  • Soft noise15 min

Evening · 6 pm – 10 pm

One last moment for you.

The sky darkens as you do. In the evening the app stays dark, even in light mode, so nothing dazzles you before bed.

  • Set it down
  • Soft rain15 min
  • Wind down3 min

Night · 10 pm – 5 am

Start the rain, turn off the screen.

The rain stops on its own. And if you wake at 3 am, the Sleep tab has a way back to sleep, with no bright light.

  • Set it down
  • Soft rain15 min
  • Wind down3 min

Try it now

Breathe with the sun.

It rises over the hill as you breathe in and sinks as you breathe out. One minute, just like in the app.

Ready?One minute, six breaths

Your hill

Every session grows a flower.

Over the days, grass comes in, a sapling takes root, a bench appears. No points, no streak to keep: take a break and everything is still there.

  • A seed of lightWhen a session ends, a glow drifts down from the sky and a flower opens where it lands. A light tap, a breath of wind through the grass.
  • One flower per sessionEach session has its flower, in its own place on the hill. It only opens once: after that, it’s simply part of the landscape.
  • And the world growsOver the days, a sapling, a bench, a path, a pond. Never confetti, never a counter.

0 days with a session

A bare hill, waiting for you.

Drag to move through time.

One session a week is enough to see something new. Ten sessions in a day won’t grow it faster than two. What counts is coming back.

Your week

Your week, as one landscape.

Monday to Sunday on a single hill: each day with its flowers, each night with its moon, fuller when you slept well. The days ahead stay in the mist. Then a few true words, with no chart and no score.

The Your week screen: one hill from Monday to Sunday, flowers on four days, a moon above each night, and the line “11 moments for you this week”.

Sessions

Short sessions that do you good.

Each one has a single purpose and lives in a single place. You’ll never scroll through four hundred tracks.

Sleep

Evenings, slowed down.

A two-step ritual that runs on its own, tonight’s real moon, and a way back to sleep when you wake in the night.

  • Settle, then drift offThree minutes of slow breathing, then the rain or the waves take over.
  • If you wake up“Back to sleep”: 4-7-8 breathing in the dark, with no bright light.
  • Mind racing? Set it down firstWrite down what’s on your mind. You get it back in the morning, then it’s erased.
  • Listen to your night In the worksRecord the sounds of your night, analysed on your phone and never sent anywhere. Our testers asked for it, and we’re looking into it.

Places

A whole landscape behind every sound.

The meadow, the night, the ocean, the rain. Each place follows the real time of day, and the moon only shows when it’s actually up.

Turn the sound up, then tap “Listen” on the meadow or the night.

The details

Thought through, down to the small things.

  • The sun and moon have things to say

A rare line, depending on the hour, the moon’s phase or the season’s shooting stars. We’ll let you find out how.

  • Your night, in one tap

In the morning: good, so-so or rough. After a rough night, the app keeps things shorter.

  • Given back in the morning

What you set down at night comes back to you in the morning. Once you’ve read it, it’s gone.

  • Sound that switches itself off

The rain fades gently over twenty seconds, then stops, at the time you chose.

  • Reminders you choose

Only the ones you want, at the time you want. No other notifications, ever.

  • A place with your name on it

Give your hill a name, if you feel like it. It shows next to the date.

Our commitments

Calm and respectful, all the way through.

  • Your data stays with you

The night you log in the morning and what you write in the evening never leave your phone.

  • No account to start

Open the app, answer three questions at most, and breathe.

  • No scores, no guilt

Your week is told in words. If it was a quiet one, nothing is asked of you.

  • The real sky, the real seasons

The tree follows the seasons, the moon its real phase, and the sun rises and sets at your time: worked out on your phone, without asking where you are.

  • Built for everyone

Designed for VoiceOver, very large text sizes and Reduce Motion.

  • In English and French

Each language is written on its own, never translated word for word.

  • Wellbeing, not medicine

SimpleDay makes no medical promise and does not replace a health professional.

Questions

Questions, answered.

What exactly is SimpleDay?

A mobile app for everyday wellbeing. It suggests a short guided session for the moment you’re in: waking up gently, taking a breather during the day, winding down in the evening, falling asleep or getting back to sleep at night. All of it in a small illustrated world that follows the real time of day.

Is it a game?

No. The little world is there to make the habit pleasant: every session grows a flower, and your hill fills in over time. There’s no score, and you lose nothing if you take a break.

When can I download it?

SimpleDay is in development and already being tested on real phones. It comes to iPhone first, in English and French; Android will follow. Leave your address at the bottom of this page to hear on the day.

How much will it cost?

One plan, monthly or yearly, with exactly the same content, and fourteen days free on the yearly plan. Prices will be announced at launch.

Is it a medical app?

No. SimpleDay is a wellbeing app. It makes no medical promise, doesn’t diagnose anything and doesn’t replace a health professional.

What about my data?

You can start without an account. The night you log and what you write stay on your phone. This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers.
